Find it. Fix it. Prove it.
Most AI SEO apps tell you you're invisible and stop there. Catalogist shows what ChatGPT and other assistants say about your store, fixes your catalog in bulk with undo, and then shows whether it worked, down to the visits and sales AI sends you.
- 1 · Find it
See who AI recommends instead of you
We ask the buying questions your shoppers ask, several times each, and show who gets named, where you're missing, and what AI gets wrong about your products.
- 2 · Fix it
Answer the questions you lose
One click drafts product copy that answers the question AI sends to a competitor, using only your product's own facts. Fix wrong facts and missing categories the same way. You review every draft, and undo any of it for 12 months.
- 3 · Get mentioned
Know which sites AI trusts
Mentions on review sites, guides and forums are one of the biggest reasons a store gets named. We list the sites AI cites in your niche, with what to do on each and a short pitch to adapt.
- 4 · Prove it
See the visits and sales AI sends you
We re-test after your edits and show the change. A storefront counter shows shoppers who arrive from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Copilot, and the orders they place. Totals only, no customer data.
What we won't sell you: an llms.txt file. Shopify already publishes one for every store, and AI assistants rarely read it. We work on what AI actually uses: complete product data, answers to the questions shoppers ask, and the sites AI trusts.
Most bulk-edit mistakes are found weeks later.
A sale price that never ended. A tag that broke a collection. Stock set at the wrong location. With 30 days of history, a mistake you find in week five is fixed by hand, product by product.
Catalogist keeps every edit's old values for 12 months, on every plan including Free, and reads each product back from Shopify after the edit runs, so History shows what actually saved.

Filter, preview, apply. Undo if you need to.
- 1
Filter
Narrow to the exact products:
status:draft,vendor:Nike,tag:sale, a collection or a price range. - 2
Preview
See the real before and after for every product, and which ones will be skipped, before anything goes live.
- 3
Apply
Run it on your selection or your whole filtered catalog. Catalogist reads the products back from Shopify to confirm what saved.
Undo
Changed your mind, today or in ten months? One click in History puts the old values back.
Set up your Black Friday sale today. It ends itself.
Pick the products, choose a percent or amount off, and set a start and end time in your store's time zone. At the start, prices drop and the original price shows struck through. At the end, Catalogist undoes the sale and prices go back. No midnight edits, no Monday clean-up.
- Preview every sale price before you schedule it
- Cancel before it starts, or end it early in one click
- If a product changed during the sale, it's skipped and listed, never overwritten
Everything you need to change a catalog safely
One app for bulk edits, timed sales and catalog fixes, with the same preview and undo on every change.
Bulk edit any field
Prices, compare-at prices, inventory per location, tags, titles, status, vendor, type, SEO, descriptions, metafields and collections, across every product your filter matches.
Catalog Health scan
Checks every product's description, title, search listing, category, images, alt text, SKUs and barcodes, gives you a readiness score, and opens the fixes in the bulk editor.
AI Visibility
Tests how AI assistants answer your shoppers' buying questions, helps you fix what they get wrong and answer what they miss, and shows the visits and sales AI sends you.
Preview before it runs
See each product's real before and after, including which ones won't change and why. Nothing touches your store until you press Apply.
Undo for 12 months
Every edit goes into History. One click puts the old values back, for a year after the edit, on every plan including Free.
Sales that end on their own
Schedule a percent or amount off with a start and end time in your store's time zone. When it ends, Catalogist undoes it. (Pro)
AI fixes you review first
Draft product copy, titles, categories and image alt text with AI credits, or describe an edit in plain English. You approve every change, and it's undoable like any other.
The app you open before a big change
Undo for a full year
Every edit lands in History and can be reversed in one click, on every plan, for 12 months after you make it.
No customer data
Catalogist edits products, inventory and locations. Its AI-visits counter sees only which assistant sent a shopper and an order's total; Shopify removes names, emails and addresses first.
Checked on Shopify
After every edit, Catalogist reads your products back from Shopify and shows what changed. Failed or skipped products are listed with a reason.
Free to edit. Free to undo.

What is Catalogist?
Catalogist is a Shopify app for bulk editing products safely. You filter the products you want, preview the before and after of every change, apply it, and can undo it in one click for 12 months. It also schedules sales that undo themselves, scans your catalog for problems, and tests how AI assistants answer your shoppers' buying questions.
Can I undo a bulk edit in Shopify?
Not with Shopify's own bulk editor or CSV import: neither keeps a history to roll back to. Catalogist records every product's values before each edit, so one click puts them back, for 12 months after the edit, on every plan including Free.
Is undo really free?
Yes. Preview, History and one-click undo are free on every plan. Every change can be undone for 12 months after you make it; after that it stays listed in History. You pay for editing your whole filtered catalog at once, scheduled sales, more AI credits and AI Visibility.
How much does Catalogist cost?
There's a free plan. Pro is $25/month or $250/year, with a 14-day free trial, and AI Visibility is $149/month. These are founding prices: stores that start a paid plan by 31 December 2026 keep them for as long as they stay subscribed. From 1 January 2027, new merchants pay $39/month for Pro, $69/month for AI Visibility Starter and $199/month for AI Visibility (yearly: $390, $690 and $1,990). Billing goes through your Shopify bill.
How many products can I edit on the free plan?
Up to 250 products per edit, as often as you like. The limit is per edit, not per store. Pro removes it and edits everything your filter matches in one go.
Can I schedule a Black Friday sale that ends on its own?
Yes, on Pro. Choose the products, pick "Start a sale" with a percent or amount off, preview it, and set a start and end time in your store's time zone. At the start, prices drop and the original price shows struck through. At the end, Catalogist undoes the sale and prices go back.
What exactly can undo reverse?
It reverses the recorded effect of each change. If a product was changed after your edit (by another app, your staff or a later edit), Catalogist skips it so it doesn't overwrite newer data, and tells you which ones. It's a per-change rewind, not a point-in-time restore of your whole store; for that, the free weekly snapshots let you compare and restore.
Can Catalogist see my customers or orders?
No. Catalogist never sees who your customers are and never reads your orders. With AI Visibility, a small storefront pixel counts visits that come from AI assistants and the total value of the orders that follow, as daily sums. Shopify removes shoppers' names, emails and addresses before anything reaches it.
Will it slow down my store?
No. Catalogist edits your catalog through Shopify's admin APIs. It adds nothing to your storefront and puts no code in your theme.
What is AI Visibility?
AI Visibility tests how AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity answer the buying questions your shoppers ask, how often they name your store, who they name instead, and what they get wrong about your products, then gives you a ranked fix plan. You can try a free check on our site without installing.
Do I need an llms.txt app for AI search?
No. Shopify already publishes an llms.txt file (and agents.md) for every store, and studies of server logs show AI assistants rarely read it. What decides whether AI recommends your products is complete, accurate product data, product pages that answer the questions shoppers ask, and mentions on the sites AI trusts. That's what Catalogist helps you fix.
